SMALL ANIMAL DAY

As part of an interactive agricultural education program, students bring small animals to school to introduce them to elementary students, providing a hands-on experience in animal care and farming. Younger students have the opportunity to engage with animals such as rabbits, chickens, and goats, while learning about their role in agriculture. This event ignites curiosity and enthusiasm, giving the younger students a chance to ask questions and learn more about the origins of their food. Older students take on the role of mentors, sharing their expertise and passion for farming, helping to build a bridge between agriculture and future generations.

Join us for Small Animal Day at IGNITE! Preschool and elementary students are invited to learn about small animals and meet the junior high and high school students who care for them. It’s a fun, hands-on experience where younger students can ask questions, see the animals up close, and explore how they’re cared for. Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to connect with our student animal caretakers!

Where Can You Find Us?

Small Animal Day at IGNITE will take place from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the CREW parking lot, located between the baseball and softball fields. Preschool and elementary students, along with community members, are invited to attend the event, where high school students will showcase the small animals they care for.
