Transforming Education: Assessing Readiness for a Learner-Centered Future

 

This workshop series is designed to guide districts through assessing their readiness to shift toward a learner-centered educational model. It begins with an overview of the importance of educational transformation and then delves into evaluating the district’s cultural readiness, capacity, and commitment to change. Participants will complete a SWOT analysis and commitment mapping activities to identify strengths, barriers, and strategies for fostering a supportive environment. The workshop concludes with the development of a detailed action plan, ensuring districts are prepared to implement and sustain meaningful educational changes.

Objective: Equip districts with the tools to evaluate and understand their readiness for educational transformation, focusing on culture, capacity, and commitment to creating a learner-centered, future-ready educational environment.

Objective: Understand the cultural readiness for change.
 
Session 3: Assessing District/Team/Community Capacity
Objective: Evaluate the district’s capacity to implement change.

 

Session 4: Gauging District/Team/Community Commitment
Objective: Determine the commitment level to shifting educational paradigms.

 

Session 5: Action Planning and Next Steps
Objective: Develop a comprehensive plan for the future.
