IP Tiny Homes is an innovative student-led business that partners with Rest and Relaxation Homes to provide students with a unique opportunity to transform shipping containers into functional tiny homes. This hands-on experience immerses students in the home-building process, allowing them to learn essential skills such as design, construction, and project management. Throughout this short-term project, students work collaboratively to plan and execute each phase of the build, from conceptualizing their designs to completing the finishing touches. This practical experience not only enhances their technical abilities but also fosters teamwork and creativity, preparing them for future careers in construction and design.

THE DESIGN

The design of the tiny home, converted from a shipping container, optimizes space to create a cozy single-bedroom dwelling. Spanning a total square footage of approximately 320 square feet, this innovative design features a functional kitchen and a modern bathroom, all while maintaining an inviting living area. The layout maximizes efficiency and comfort, making it an ideal solution for those seeking minimalist living without sacrificing essential amenities. With thoughtful design elements, this container home is set to redefine the concept of compact living.
