HIGH SCHOOL MISSION MONDAY

Mission Mondays at IGNITE Pathways are all about preparing students for success! High schoolers can participate in Financial University, where they learn essential money management skills, and the Career Readiness Bootcamp, designed to help them build resumes, practice interviews, and develop professional skills. These opportunities ensure students are ready to tackle their futures with confidence!

The purpose of IGNITE Financial University is to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to confidently manage their personal and business finances. Through four interactive sessions, students will learn the basics of budgeting, saving, and financial planning, while gaining hands-on experience through real-world activities like creating budgets and adjusting for unexpected expenses. This program is designed to build financial independence and prepare students for future challenges, from managing personal finances to starting a business. Upon completing all four sessions and passing the final assessment, students will earn a certificate of financial proficiency, recognizing their achievement and readiness to make informed financial decisions.

The Career Readiness Bootcamp at IGNITE Pathways is an engaging and hands-on program designed to equip high school students with essential skills for entering the workforce. Over four interactive sessions, students will learn how to create professional resumes and cover letters, complete employment forms, understand HR paperwork, prepare for job interviews, and participate in mock interviews with local business leaders. This comprehensive bootcamp emphasizes practical experience, including access to professional attire through a resource closet and personalized feedback from industry professionals. Upon completion, students will receive a Career Readiness Bootcamp Certificate, recognizing their preparedness to succeed in today’s job market.
