Feed-a-Farmer
Feed-a-Farmer is a community service event that supports local farmers during the busy harvest season by providing them with nourishing meals while they work long hours in the fields.
Volunteers come together to prepare and deliver meals, ensuring that farmers can stay focused on their vital tasks. In a generous act of gratitude, many farmers donate a portion of their
harvest proceeds back to the IGNITE FFA program, helping to support the next generation of agricultural leaders. This event not only builds community connections but also strengthens the
partnership between local farmers and future agricultural professionals.

an active role in coordinating the fair, from managing logistics to welcoming participants, gaining valuable leadership and organizational skills in the process. The career fair highlights
IGNITE Pathways’ commitment to preparing students for future success by offering hands-on experiences and direct access to industry leaders, while also fostering connections that can
lead to internships, mentorships, or even job placements.

lives. On this day, students are encouraged to drive their tractors to school, proudly showcasing the equipment they use on family farms. This event not only sparks conversations about
agriculture but also fosters a sense of pride and connection among students, staff, and community members. Sponsored by Harrison County Farm Bureau, it's a great way for students to share
their passion for farming while promoting awareness of the hard work and dedication that goes into maintaining the local agricultural industry.
Small Animal Day
As part of an engaging agricultural education initiative, students bring small animals to school to introduce them to elementary students, offering a hands-on learning experience about animal
care and farming. Younger students get the chance to interact with animals like rabbits, chickens, and goats, while learning about their importance in agriculture. This event sparks curiosity
and excitement, allowing elementary students to ask questions and gain a better understanding of where their food comes from. The older students serve as role models, sharing their knowledge
and passion for farming, while fostering a connection between agriculture and the next generation.
