Personal Finance is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to make informed financial decisions, develop responsible money management habits, and build a secure financial future. This course explores key financial concepts, including budgeting, saving, investing, and credit management, while also covering business finance principles. Students will learn how to navigate the financial world with confidence, preparing them for personal financial success and potential entrepreneurial ventures.

Course Description

Personal Finance provides students with the essential skills to manage money effectively, make smart financial decisions, and plan for a secure future. Through real-world applications, students will explore personal budgeting, banking, credit management, and investment strategies. The course also introduces the fundamentals of business finance and examines how economic policies and global market trends impact financial decision-making.

  • Financial Foundations – Learn the principles of budgeting, saving, and financial goal-setting.

  • Banking Accounts & Credit – Understand the role of banks, credit scores, loans, and responsible borrowing.

  • Business Finance – Gain insight into business financial operations, including income, expenses, and profit analysis.

  • Financial Freedom & Investments – Discover strategies for building wealth through investments, retirement planning, and passive income opportunities.

  • Government Policies & Market Outcomes – Evaluate how government interventions, such as taxes, regulations, and subsidies, influence economic markets and personal financial decisions.

  • Economic Indicators & Financial Decision-Making – Use key economic indicators like inflation, unemployment rates, and GDP to assess financial trends and make informed money management choices.
