A hands-on approach will be used throughout the course. Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries introduces athletic training procedures as they relate to the athlete, physical education, coach, and trainer. Included is the history of the training profession, ethics, testing, fitness development, and care and prevention of common sports injuries.
