WHAT YOU
WILL LEARN

In the EMT/EMR courses at IGNITE Pathways, students learn the skills required to respond effectively to medical emergencies. The program covers fundamental concepts like patient assessment, basic life support, and emergency response protocols. Students gain hands-on experience through simulations and practical exercises, preparing them to perform critical tasks such as administering CPR, controlling bleeding, and stabilizing patients for transport. The curriculum emphasizes both the technical skills and the communication needed for effective patient care.

In the CPR/First Aid courses, students learn lifesaving techniques applicable in a range of emergency situations. The CPR training teaches how to perform chest compressions and rescue breaths to maintain circulation in cardiac arrest cases. The First Aid portion covers essential skills for treating wounds, burns, fractures, and other injuries. Students also learn how to respond to medical emergencies like allergic reactions and seizures.
