Course Description

PC Support I is an IWCC course that introduces computer hardware and software concepts necessary for an entry-level computer repair technician. Students learn to troubleshoot, repair, upgrade, and maintain PC hardware and software.

  • Functions and interactions of all PC subsystems

  • Troubleshoot common PC hardware problems.

  • PC and constituent component selection

  • Install, replace, and upgrade PC hardware components.

  • Install and troubleshoot PC peripherals
